2021-2023 MUN General Assembly Officer
Hi everyone! My name is Saanvi Mehta, and I am the 2021-2023 General Assembly D officer. I am so beyond excited to be working to make next year's conference the very best it can be. MUN has had such a monumental impact on my life. It has helped me find my voice, aided me in developing a passion for civic engagement, and allowed me to form lifelong friendships. I cannot wait to give back to this program and to witness and aid you all in being so significantly impacted as well! I live in a small town in South Jersey, and I attend Mainland Regional Highschool. I love to read, play tennis, dance, cook, and, of course, to watch Tiktok. My favorite subject in school would have to be math or science, and I love watching sunsets (especially with chick-fil-a in hand!). I cannot wait to meet you all, hopefully, in person this year!! :) <3

I am passionate about teen empowerment, CE, women's rights, mental health, civil rights, utilizing technology/computing to inspire/enable/enact change, and preventing global warming

Some of my favorite movies are The Proposal, Christmas with the Kranks, Legally Blonde, & Miss Congeniality. I am currently watching Emily in Paris!

Some of my hobbies are cooking, swimming, going on long drives/adventures, volunteering, biking, watching tiktok/netflix, and traveling!
My taste in music is all over the place haha, but some of my favorite songs are Smile For You, Band on the Run, Rocket Man, Happier than Ever, Dark Paradise, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Somewhere Only We Know, Uptown Girl, See Me On the Outside, August, All too Well, Hotel California, Sweater Weather, and many many more!

Some of my favorite books are the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, The Cruel Prince Series, From Blood and Ash Series, The Wrath and The Dawn, To Kill a Mockingbird, War and Peace, The Red Queen Series, The Shadows Between Us, and Fahrenheit 451!
